MY Normal
I am a normal woman (major multi-tasker)
I do care (mostly about things of eternal value)
I love people (especially the ‘Isaiah 61:1 bunch’; The less fortunate & ‘brokenhearted’.
I am a blessed mother of 2 children. I read a lot and journal all the time, out of which came books, so I could say that I am a creative writer (look out for my faith-based books; the next-to-be published before the end of the year)!! I create faith-based courses, and teaching material, and do some shadow-writing. I did private tutoring for several years up to A-level students (high-schoolers), and;
I presently do some coaching and mentoring.
I have been described as a great cook, and love cooking for my family who prefer my cooking to junk food (so thankful for that)!
Used to like entertaining (No time now)
I’m not very outgoing, but I’ve been told I am warm and very friendly (truth), but how does that work? Introverted-extrovert?
I often laugh at myself, and still make my children laugh, so I guess I have a good sense of humour.
I try to retain joy in my heart, protect and preserve my peace, and I try to keep things simple.
I am passionate about self-education, and continuous personal development and improvement.
Trivia; I chew gum occasionally at home, and try not to outdoors unless I forget to spit it out before I leave the house or car! (Sorry if you don’t like people chewing gum)!
MY No-No’s
I do not drink alcohol or smoke
I don’t hate people, and I try not to stay offended (can’t afford it)
I don’t curse either [although my children (during teenage years) and people sometimes can drive you mad enough to almost do that]. However, I have tried not to since I met Jesus (or more like Jesus found me) about 33 years ago.
I don’t eat as healthy as I would love to (but working on that).
I’m not into any special lifestyle stuff, diets, programmes and regimes and meditations (except on God and the Bible). I am sincerely inspired by those who do and can maintain it.
Still working on that!
My strength? According to my children; Resilience and Persistence (cause I’m always on their case)!
My weaknesses? Probably overthinking and over-processing sometimes.
MY FAVOURITES:
Favourite Person?-JESUS
Favourite Thing to do? – Making people feel special for the ‘thrill’ of seeing the surprise and joy in their eyes and faces
Favourite Food? – Not even sure! I can cook vegetables to make even children love them! Maybe BBQ then!
Favourite answered prayer? A second chance at life. I was given it. That’s how come I’m here now.
MY MOSTS:
Most significant discovery?
How much more love and forgiveness there is within yourself, when you discover yourself in the context of Covenant with God.
Most Valuable Lesson?
Learnt to choose my fights, and guard my heart.
Most importantly and of most value to me, which in my opinion eclipses all others?
I am still alive and healthier than I have ever been in all my life.
